OASE LAKE THERAPY RANGE

All OASE Lake Therapy products are biologically safe and designed for long-term water health. They contain no harmful chemicals and are safe for aquatic plants, fish, pets, birds, and amphibians (except certain sturgeon species in high doses).

OASE OptiLake – pH and Carbonate Hardness Stabiliser

Purpose:

OptiLake maintains a stable pH and carbonate hardness (KH) in lakes and large ponds. Sudden swings in pH can stress fish, suppress beneficial bacteria, and trigger algal blooms.

How It Works:

OptiLake contains a balanced mineral buffer that stabilises pH between 7.5 and 8.5 and raises carbonate hardness to a healthy range. This gives aquatic microorganisms and plants the environment they need to function properly. It forms the foundation of all other treatments — without stable water chemistry, no biological process can work efficiently.

Typical Dosage:

• Use 1 kg per 10 m³ (10,000 litres) of water.
• For large lakes, broadcast evenly across the surface or pre-dissolve and apply via sprayer or aeration system.
• Apply annually in spring and check levels mid-summer.

OASE SeDox – Phosphate Binder

Purpose:

Phosphates fuel algae growth. SeDox locks up free phosphate in the water and sediment, cutting off algae’s primary food source.

How It Works:

SeDox uses a mineral binding process to permanently trap phosphates in a crystalline form that plants and algae cannot access. Over time, it starves blanket weed and green water algae, restoring natural balance without chemical algicides.

Typical Dosage:

• 100–150 g per 1,000 litres (1 kg per 10 m³).
• For problem lakes with visible algae blooms, apply every 4–6 weeks through spring and summer.
• Scatter evenly over the surface on a calm day.

OASE SeDox Speed – Rapid Phosphate Reduction

Purpose:

A faster-acting version of SeDox, designed for lakes facing acute algae blooms or emergency nutrient surges after runoff events or warm spells.

How It Works:

SeDox Speed reacts quickly with dissolved phosphates, producing immediate improvements in clarity and oxygen exchange. It is ideal for one-off applications to reset a waterbody before introducing longer-term management.

Typical Dosage:

• 75–100 g per 1,000 litres depending on severity.
• Apply evenly across the lake.
• Can be repeated monthly during peak algae conditions.

OASE SchlixX – Sludge and Sediment Digester

Purpose:

Over time, organic matter (leaves, silt, fish waste) builds up on the lakebed, releasing nutrients and creating odours. SchlixX accelerates natural decomposition to reduce sludge depth and nutrient recycling.

How It Works:

SchlixX combines oxygen-releasing minerals with beneficial bacteria that feed on organic sediments. As it reacts, it releases oxygen directly into the lakebed, supporting aerobic microbes and breaking down sludge into harmless gas and mineral residue.

Typical Dosage:

• 200–250 g per m² of lakebed, or 2.5–5 kg per 100 m² for heavy sludge.
• Apply as a dry powder evenly across the surface or from a boat.
• Use in late spring and again in early autumn for best results.

OASE SchlixX Plus – Enhanced Sludge Remediation

Purpose:

For lakes with severe organic loading or long-term neglect, SchlixX Plus delivers a stronger bacterial culture and higher oxygen release capacity.

How It Works:

It restores the natural sediment balance and reduces nutrient leaching from the bottom layers — stopping the cycle of algae growth at its source. It also helps reduce odour and toxic gas build-up, improving habitat for fish and macroinvertebrates.

Typical Dosage:

• 200 g per m² of water surface area.
• Apply two to three times annually for sustained improvement.

Purpose:

Purpose:

AlgoShield is a long-term algae preventative that keeps string algae and floating mats under control.

How It Works:

It supports beneficial microorganisms that outcompete algae for nutrients, while releasing trace elements that enhance plant health. It does not kill algae chemically — instead, it stabilises the ecosystem so algae fail to dominate.

Typical Dosage:

• 50 g per 1,000 litres for maintenance.
• For existing blooms, double the initial dose.
• Apply monthly from April through September.
