Information we collect
When you contact us or submit an enquiry, we may collect information such as your name, email address, telephone number, site or project address, postcode, photographs and the details you choose to give us about your project.
We also collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the website. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect limited measurement information about pages viewed and actions taken. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, addresses, postcodes, photographs or enquiry text to Google Analytics.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and arrange site visits;
- prepare quotations and provide services;
- communicate about current and prospective work;
- keep business, accounting and legal records;
- operate, maintain and secure the website; and
- understand website use where you have consented to analytics.
Our legal bases depend on the purpose. They include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business, and your consent for optional analytics cookies.
Enquiries and ServiceM8
Our online enquiry and booking journey may open a ServiceM8-hosted page. Information entered there is used to create and manage your enquiry or booking. Clicking an enquiry link on our website records only an intent action where analytics consent exists; it is not counted as a completed enquiry. A completed ServiceM8 form is recorded separately after successful submission.
We configure analytics so that submitted form details are not included in the Google Analytics conversion event. Do not put sensitive or unnecessary personal information into an enquiry.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-0GKEDSNWSY, to understand website use and improve our services. Analytics storage and measurement are denied by default. Google Analytics runs only after you select Accept analytics in our cookie control.
If you reject analytics, no GA4 measurement hits are sent by our standalone tracker. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics measurement; it does not retrospectively remove aggregated information already collected while consent was active.
We strip query strings from measured page addresses and apply additional redaction to common query parameters that could contain personal information. Advertising storage, advertising user-data signals and advertising personalisation remain denied.

Who receives information
We use trusted service providers where needed to run the business. These may include ServiceM8 for enquiries, bookings and job management; Google Analytics for consented website measurement; website hosting and security providers; and accounting or professional advisers. They may process information for us under their own contractual and legal obligations.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the provider’s applicable safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, including to respond to enquiries, deliver services and meet accounting, insurance and legal requirements. Retention periods differ depending on whether an enquiry becomes a customer job and whether a record must be kept by law.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
