Our waterfall installation service is ideal for established ponds, or if you are are looking for a stand alone feature where you don’t necessarily need a pond.

Water features are a guaranteed talking point to any indoor or outdoor space. We have the know-how to install a feature which is aesthetically pleasing, providing sound, light and movement, whilst avoiding common pitfalls such as water loss and inadequate flow.

A waterfall feature is also a great way of increasing dissolved oxygen levels in a pond which is great for fish health, filtration and other animals living in and around your pond. Birds also love to splash around in the moving water.

We specialise in bespoke pieces, whether you have something more classical or contemporary in mind, however extravagant, we’ll be able to help.

Natural Waterfall Installation

We can install ready-to-go self contained units or we can make stand-alone, pondless waterfalls. We can also create elaborate, decadent waterfalls with meandering streams. The possibilities are endless.

Formal blade waterfalls are proving popular for koi ponds. They can be built into a wall or fence. They can be plumbed into a return from your filter, or set up individually on their own pump. In the picture below, a trough was used to add another dimension to the pond.

What types of waterfalls do you build?

We design and install both natural rock cascades that blend into wildlife or garden ponds and modern water features for patios or courtyards. Every design is tailored to your site, budget, and aesthetic preferences.

How much does a waterfall installation cost?

Prices start from £800 for compact or pre-formed waterfalls. Larger bespoke stone builds with integrated pumps and filtration typically range between £2,000–£5,000+ depending on size and materials.

Can you add a waterfall to my existing pond?

Yes — we regularly retrofit waterfalls to existing ponds, improving water movement, aeration, and overall appearance without needing a full pond rebuild.

What are the benefits of adding a waterfall?

A waterfall adds oxygen and circulation, helps reduce stagnation and algae, and creates relaxing natural sound. It also enhances wildlife habitat by increasing oxygen levels and providing shelter for aquatic species.

Do you handle pumps and electrical installation?

Yes. We design systems with energy-efficient pumps, plumbing, and flow rates suited to your pond. Any electrical connections are safely managed by a qualified electrician in line with UK standards.

Do waterfalls need regular maintenance?

Minimal maintenance is required. We recommend seasonal cleaning to remove debris or algae and an annual service to check pump performance and water flow.

Can a waterfall be part of a natural swimming pond?

Absolutely. Waterfalls can be integrated into natural swimming pond filtration zones, enhancing circulation and visual appeal while keeping the system low-maintenance and chemical-free.
